Wire Stripping Length Control Tips for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes

Improper wire stripping length easily causes short circuits or poor contact in ZCEBOX junction boxes. Here are 2 key control points, simple to operate:
- Determine Length by Terminal DepthThe depth of ZCEBOX terminal blocks is mostly 8-12mm, so the wire stripping length is recommended to be 1-2mm shorter than the terminal depth (i.e., 7-11mm). This avoids excessive exposure of the copper core touching the box body, or insufficient length leading to loose terminal crimping.
- Use Special Tools for PrecisionIt is recommended to use ZCEBOX matching wire strippers (for common wire gauges such as 2.5mm², 4mm²). The clamp mouth has a preset stripping depth; gently press to cut the insulation layer, avoiding copper core damage or inaccurate length control during manual stripping.
Mastering these two points can reduce 80% of wiring faults caused by stripping issues.
