Wire Labeling Management Tips for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes

Unlabeled wires in junction boxes bring great inconvenience to later maintenance. ZCEBOX shares 3 simple labeling tips to make wire management clearer:
- 1、Use the box’s built-in marking areas
- ZCEBOX junction boxes have preset blank marking areas inside (some models with erasable coating). Use an oil-based marker to directly label wire functions (e.g., "Living Room Lighting," "Air Conditioner Circuit")—the writing won’t fade easily, no need for extra labels. - 2、Make simple marks on wire ends
- For multiple wires, wrap 1 loop of colored electrical tape around the end of the insulation layer to distinguish (e.g., red for live wire, blue for neutral wire). The tape width should not exceed 5mm to avoid affecting terminal crimping.
- 3、Record a label correspondence table
- For complex wires, record "label-wire purpose-corresponding device" in your phone’s notes (e.g., "L1-Master Bedroom Socket-Bedside Lamp") to quickly check during maintenance and reduce misoperation.
Good labeling management can greatly improve the maintenance efficiency of ZCEBOX junction boxes.
