Wire Fixing Tips for Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes, ZCEBOX Teaches You to Avoid Loosening Risks

Oct. 20, 2025
Disordered wires and improper fixing in plastic distribution box junction boxes are common causes of poor contact and short circuits. Many users ignore wire fixing details, which easily lead to potential safety hazards later. Combining product design, ZCEBOX shares 3 simple and practical wire fixing tips to help users standardize wiring quickly.

1. Make Good Use of Built-in Card Slots for Classified and Tidy Fixing

All ZCEBOX junction boxes are preset with wire card slots inside, divided into different slot positions according to wire specifications (e.g., 2.5mm², 4mm²). During installation, you only need to snap the stripped wires into the corresponding slots, no additional tape wrapping required. This achieves "horizontal and vertical" fixing, which not only avoids cross friction of wires but also allows quick line positioning during later maintenance.

2. Match with Special Cable Ties for Multi-wire Scenarios

For industrial scenarios with a large number of wires, ZCEBOX provides supporting flame-retardant nylon cable ties (temperature resistance -40℃~80℃, complying with UL94 V0 standard). When using, note: the number of wires per bundle should not exceed 8, and the tightness of the cable tie should be "wires do not shake, no indentation on the insulation layer" – avoid over-tightening to damage wires or over-loosening to cause displacement.

3. Secondary Inspection After Terminal Fixing

After tightening the terminal blocks, a "light pull test" is required: pull the end of the wire gently with your finger (force about 5N). If the wire does not loosen, it is qualified. ZCEBOX terminals are designed with anti-slip patterns, and tightening according to the recommended torque (1.2-1.8N·m) can greatly reduce the probability of loosening; if the wire comes out during the test, re-crimp the wire ferrule or replace the terminal.
Three simple steps can improve the stability of wire fixing and reduce later faults. ZCEBOX products simplify operations from the design end, allowing ordinary users to easily standardize wiring and ensure electrical safety from details.
