Precautions for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes in Low-Temperature Environments

Low-temperature environments (below -10℃) easily cause plastic embrittlement and wiring loosening. ZCEBOX shares 2 core precautions to ensure stable use in winter:
- 1. Prioritize low-temperature-resistant modelsFor outdoor or low-temperature area installation, choose ZCEBOX low-temperature-resistant modified PP material models (temperature resistance -40℃~80℃). The material has good low-temperature toughness, avoiding box cracking due to cold waves; ordinary models should not be used in environments below -15℃.
- 2. Regularly re-tighten terminals to prevent looseningLow temperature causes thermal expansion and contraction of metal terminals. Use a torque screwdriver (1.2-1.8N·m) to re-tighten terminal screws every 2 months, and gently pull wires to confirm no loosening, preventing poor contact and heat generation.
Doing these two points well can reduce the fault risk of ZCEBOX in low-temperature environments.
