Multi-Wire Parallel Connection Tips for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes

Oct. 22, 2025

Multi-wire parallel connection is a common need in junction box use; improper operation easily causes terminal overload. ZCEBOX shares 2 core operation points to ensure safety:1. **Check terminal capacity first, do not exceed the limit**  ZCEBOX terminals are marked with the maximum number of parallel wires (e.g., up to 3 2.5mm² wires). Operate strictly according to the mark to avoid terminal heating due to too many wires—if exceeding the capacity, choose ZCEBOX models with extended terminals.2. **Add anti-loosening treatment after parallel connection**   After inserting multiple wires into the terminal and tightening the screws, wrap 1-2 circles of insulating tape around the wire root (only wrap the wire, not the terminal) to prevent wire displacement when pulled, further ensuring stable connection. Following this operation can reduce the fault risk of multi-wire parallel connection.
