Dust-Proof Tips for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes in Dust-Intensive Environments

Nov. 07, 2025
Dust-intensive environments (e.g., cement plants, woodworking workshops, mines) are prone to dust accumulation blocking wiring holes and affecting terminal contact. ZCEBOX shares 2 core dust-proof tips to ensure stable equipment operation:
  1. 1.Dust-proof Model Selection + Installation ProtectionPrioritize ZCEBOX models with dust protection level IP65 and above (dust protection ≥ Level 6), which adopt dust-proof sealed structures and are equipped with silicone dust plugs for wiring holes; install away from dust sources (distance ≥1.5m). If unavoidable, install ZCEBOX special dust covers (fully covering the box with reserved ventilation grilles) to prevent direct dust deposition on the box surface and joints.

  2. 2. Regular Dust Cleaning + Seal InspectionUse dry compressed air (pressure ≤0.4MPa) to purge from the outside to the inside of wiring holes every month to clean dust inside the box (prohibit reverse purging to avoid dust penetrating terminals); focus on checking if the sealing strip is dusty and hardened during inspections, and timely clean the strip gaps with a brush to ensure tight sealing after cover closure and no loss of dust plugs for idle holes.

Proper dust protection avoids faults such as poor contact and blocked heat dissipation caused by dust.
