Condensation Handling Tips for ZCEBOX Plastic Distribution Box Junction Boxes
In scenarios with large temperature differences (e.g., basements, outdoor day-night temperature changes), condensation is prone to form inside the box, reducing insulation. ZCEBOX shares 2 simple handling tips:
1. Reserve drainage slope during installation
Fix the box with a 3°-5° tilt at the bottom toward the drainage hole, allowing condensation to naturally flow to the drainage hole and drain, avoiding water accumulation.
2. Built-in desiccant for moisture proofing
Place 1 pack of silica gel desiccant (ZCEBOX matching model optional) in the corner of the box, replace it every 3 months to quickly absorb moisture and inhibit condensation formation.
Proper condensation handling prevents faults caused by moisture inside the box.
