Recently, our company's ZCEBOX plastic distribution box junction boxes successfully won the "Annual Green Environmental Protection Product" certification issued by the National Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry Association, thanks to their outstanding performance in environmentally friendly material research and green production. This certification is not only an authoritative recognition of the environmental performance of ZCEBOX products but also marks a key step for the brand in promoting sustainable development in the industry.
As an important component in the electrical industry, the "environmental protection attributes" of plastic distribution box junction boxes are becoming a new focus of market attention. ZCEBOX launched the "Green Material R&D Plan" as early as 5 years ago, and currently, the entire product line has achieved three major environmental breakthroughs:
Raw Material Innovation: Using 70% recycled PP material instead of virgin plastic. After special modification treatment, the product's mechanical properties are equivalent to virgin materials (impact strength ≥ 12kJ/m²), and it fully complies with the EU REACH regulation's restrictions on 168 hazardous substances;
Production Carbon Reduction: Through a waste heat recovery system, the exhaust gas emission temperature is controlled below 50℃, reducing greenhouse gas emissions;
Recyclable Design: The product structure adopts a "glue-free splicing" process, enabling 95% of components to be disassembled and recycled after scrapping, avoiding the recycling difficulties of traditional junction boxes due to mixed materials.
In the certification evaluation, ZCEBOX's full-life-cycle environmental management system was particularly recognized by experts. From raw material procurement (cooperating with FSC-certified forest farms to ensure the compliance of recycled plastic sources), to production links (passing ISO 14001 environmental management system certification), and then to packaging and transportation (using degradable buffer materials, reducing carton usage by 30%), each link has established quantified environmental indicators. Data shows that compared with the industry average, ZCEBOX can reduce carbon emissions by about 2.3 tons for every 1,000 junction boxes produced, equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting 120 trees.
"Environmental protection is not a cost burden but a driving force for technological upgrading," said the company's R&D director. In the future, ZCEBOX will continue to invest in the research and development of bio-based plastics, planning to launch fully degradable outdoor-specific junction boxes by 2026. It will also join hands with upstream and downstream enterprises to establish a "plastic recycling-regeneration-reuse" closed-loop system, promoting the entire industry towards low-carbon transformation.
Currently, ZCEBOX's green environmental protection series products have been widely used in green buildings, new energy charging piles, ecological parks and other scenarios with strict environmental protection requirements, and have obtained bulk purchase orders from major customers such as Vanke and State Grid. The acquisition of this certification will further enhance the brand's competitiveness in the green building supporting field, providing more customers with the dual value of "safety and reliability + environmental friendliness".
